3 for 3

I am a barfer. Plain and simple. For as long as I can remember I have been a barfer. Let me elaborate. I remember driving to California one summer when I was really young. I made it the entire way and as my dad slowly pulled the big red truck into the parking space...I lost it. Vomit everywhere. I'm sure my mom said "seriously?" I know I would have, cause that is the perfect word for that situation. As I got older I found that my barfing not only occurred when driving but also when flying, with pms cramps, and birthing children. I have ralphed on numerous planes and helicopters in my life (with and without nausea meds). The moment I find my seat, I make sure there is a friendly barf bag readily available in case of emergency. I may or may not have left a little "present" for the flight attendants on occasion. I soon found that pain even makes me throw up. In high school and college I had the luck of vomiting every month. how nice. I even vomited in the bridal shop as I bought my wedding dress. Picture me sitting crouched on the platform, where beautiful blushing brides stand in their white dresses imagining their wedding day, holding a 64oz Slurpee cup vomiting as quietly as possible while my mom payed for my wedding dress. nice. For some reason my body handles pain by getting rid of anything in my stomach. Like when I'm in labor. Yup vomiting and contraction combos. Excellent.

Now as each of my children have turned about 18 months we have confirmed that they too have been blessed with this curse. First Hannah, then Lincoln and today (just weeks after she turned 18 months) Lucy joined the crowd. I was so hoping that she would be exempt, but alas that vomit jean runs strong. Super sorry about that one guys. All'z I know(isn't that a great word all'z) is that it could be worse. What if I passed them an "only one eyebrow jean" or the "Spock ears jean", or even the "3 arms jean"? I mean not that there's anything wrong if you have those jeans, but a little vomit might not be so bad after all.

Such a funny post! I love it. Don't worry - I threw up when I was having Addison. It grossed me out, but no one else seemed to care :)

I was always a barfer too! Every road trip, I would throw up before we even left our house! Seriously! I am getting better.... although I puked the whole way home from girls camp 2 years ago when I was pregnant with Logan! good times!

You've got it bad girl!! So sorry!

When Rachel was a baby/toddler she would make herself throw-up if she got upset enough. Drew is also turning out to be a barfer. He drank too much homemade rootbeer (it was the 4th), made a huge burp and then barfed all his rootbeer up. What's up with that? I hate barf and that lingering smell...
