have you ever rushed out the door to take your 6 year old to school and then decided to run a quick errand? just a place down the road that you remembered was going out of business- and you can always find something you need when it's 70% off of everything. but then as you are walking into the store you catch a glimpse of your self in the reflection of the door. Now in other cases this is a good thing...like at church. It's always a great place to have one last look to make sure your skirt is not tucked into your underwear. but when you realize that you are not looking your best at said store and even bordering on illegally bad...that's not ok. the hair: mad crazy, in an attempted snarl bun after you slept on it wet following your night time shower after you worked out. the clothes: pretty much your pajamas, but that's ok because your 4 year old son and one year old daughter are also in their pajamas, so matching might give you a point...right...wrong. that's gonna be negative 3. makeup: non-existent. deodorant and toothpaste fall into that same category. Your one redeeming factor: that you actually put on a bra that morning. whew. thank goodness. but i have to ask...would it have stopped you from going into that store if you hadn't? we can only hope so.
now of course i myself have never done such a thing but i might know someone who has. and i wouldn't be surprised if she does it again...how embarrasing. seriously.

Luckily we only have one car otherwise I may find myself doing such things. Makeup is barely non existent in my life before 3 in the afternoon any way- right around the time Mike calls to say "on my way"
The only thing that makes it better is when you run into husband's ex-girlfriend's family -FOR THE FIRST TIME! True story. Looked just like that and felt like saying the whole time no really, I don't look like this. Glad to know I'm not the only:)
